About Us
Rock along with Fortune Star Band!
With special help from iSchool of Music and Arts, Fortune Star Band is a widely-recognized symphonic pop-rock band organized and run by energetic student-musicians and volunteers from the Nassau community. We are dedicated to sharing the joy of music with all audiences across the community, including the young band members, while fostering cultural exchange between modern Eastern and Western music styles. A dynamic mix of vocalists, percussion, strings, guitars, and winds brings a lively catalog of contemporary pop and rock songs to the stage at every Fortune Star performance.
We have played at various venues (30+) and reached over 4K listeners in performances both online and live at concert halls, local and organizational public events, community centers, nonprofit fundraisers, galas, music institutions, cultural celebrations, senior centers, food drives, fairs, making a lasting impact on diverse communities and individuals across the region.
