Thea Chen is a senior at Syosset Senior High School, playing violin in and outside the Fortune Star band. She has been playing violin since she was five and reached level six in fourth grade, starting with Allegro Brillante by William Ten Have. Recently, she achieved a full score of 100 on All-State NYSSMA. Aside from violin, she also paints and sketches, winning awards like the National Award of Excellence for the PTA Reflections art contest. She is also part of another community service organization, AYLUS, where she aids in gardening, teaching, and protecting the environment.

Harrison King is 16 years old, and is in the 11th grade at Syosset High School. He loves to play the piano, sing, and swim. He hopes to become fluent in Chinese, so he can clearly sing songs in the Chinese language one day. Harrison joined the band because he loves to express himself musically, and find a group of talented individuals to just hang out with.

He plays piano and guitar over a variety of genres and currently plays in a few bands including FortuneStar. As music is his passion, education has been at his forefront. He has achieved top 25 of the Class of 2025 SHS. In addition to his academic and musical studies, he participates in mathletes, computer club and is always researching avenues in this area. As FortuneStar and Ischool has brought him into the community more, he has worked alongside the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department as the Captain of the Seaford Fire Department Juniors. He is looking forward to continue his journey in all his endeavors and is grateful to have had all of these experiences thus far.
